Hello Reader,

I am thrilled to share another special moment from my Jewel of South – Day 2 | The Spirit of South journey.

🎤 Round 2 – Naache Mayuri | Talent Round

For this round, I had the privilege of presenting a singing performance of “One Moment in Time” by Dana Winner.

What made this performance truly unforgettable was the honour of performing in the presence of the legendary Sudhaa Chandran. ✨

Sudhaa Chandran is more than an accomplished artist and performer. Her extraordinary journey of resilience, determination and reinvention has inspired generations to believe that challenges do not have to define the size of our dreams.

To stand on a stage and perform while she watched and witnessed my talent was deeply humbling and incredibly meaningful.

Another special highlight was being in the presence of Sudheer Attavar, acclaimed Indian filmmaker, lyricist and Sahitya Akademi Award winner, whose creative journey spans Kannada and Marathi cinema.

Having such distinguished personalities witness this chapter of my journey made the experience even more memorable.

For me, this was never simply about singing a song.

I was bringing to the Jewel of South stage my talent, my story, my heritage, my courage and my journey.

And “One Moment in Time” felt like the perfect expression of that journey — a reminder that every chapter of our lives prepares us for those moments when we step forward and dare to shine.

I am deeply grateful to NariFirst and the Jewel of South platform for creating a stage where women can celebrate not only their talent, but also their stories, heritage, and journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to Sudhaa Chandran for being such an enduring inspiration, and to Sudheer Attavar for witnessing and encouraging this special moment.

❤️ This was my moment in time.

I would love for you to watch the performance, share it with your friends and community, and celebrate this beautiful moment with me.

With gratitude,

Ranjini Sanjay
